The Green Bay Packers have retained the rights to fullback
John Kuhn who will be entering his third season in the NFL in 2008. Kuhn played the 2006 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers where he played 9 games at fullback and had 2 rushes for 18 yards and 1 reception for 16 yards. The Packers signed Kuhn in 2007 off waivers after Pittsburgh cut him at the end of training camp. Kuhn played fullback for the Packers in 2007 and had 2 receptions for 7 yards on the season.
The 24 year old John Kuhn entered the NFL non-drafted after finishing college at Shippensburg. He is second on the Packers depth chart at the fullback position heading into the 2008 season behind starter and second year player Korey Hall. Hall was a sixth round pick (#191) for the Packers in 2007.
