Aaron Rodgers got his first win as the starting quarterback as the Green Bay Packers defeated the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 24 to 19. Rodgers started the night with a short pass to Jennings on the first play of the game. From there Rodgers had a very steady game completing 18 of 22 passes for 178 yards. Rodgers first touchdown pass as a starter looked just like Favre as he advoided a heavy rush and hit a diving Korey Hall from three yards out. Rodgers also ran in a touchdown on a quarterback sneak and did his first leap into the stands. Agains a defense in Minnesota that is very good it is safe to say Rodgers had a very good opening night. Despite Rodgers play the Vikings had a shot to win the game on the last series, however Jackson was intercepted.
