Nice to see you again Brett!!

Well its been a while hasn't it? You were always my number one, my top dog, the guy I would so patiently await to see while i endured terrible, hard working days all week long. It feels like it all happened in a flash. BOOM!! There you were throwing touchdowns in historic Lambeau Field, but something was different today. You were wearing a purple jersey this time, a color I've grown a real hatred for over the past fifteen years of my life. And now my absolute real hero is dressed in the hideous color. What do I think? How do I feel about this? I could imagine just about as mixed and confused as you did, Brett.
No matter who you are if you were a packer fan for the past fifteen years or just the past five you can't tell me you were not confused on how to feel about this past Sundays game against the Vikings. Seeing his face bigger than mine on a fifty inch HD t.v. in Lambeau gave me an instant refreshed and good and exciting feeling. Almost like it did two years ago when he was last quarterback for the pack. In an instant I feel awakened from years of neglect. But then I realized again, you are in a purple jersey giving your old enemies the bright and exciting feeling you gave us. And now our quarterback, although stat solid, and an overall great at his job just isn't enough. He honestly just is not filling the void left by Mr. Brett Favre. Is that Rodgers fault? Of course not, but whose fault is it? Ahhhh, yes that is where all the controversy lies. But I choose to leave that alone for now so we can all sit back, breath it in and recognize the greatness of the man, the legend, Brett Farve, who on Sunday showed us physically in Green Bay once and for all that he's the man and no matter what he wanted we should have given him. Because he is the best of the best and without him that old packer spark is gone and I'm left feeling like the days of the magic man all over again.
But I will go on barely keeping an eye on the packers compared to the old days and hope that something magical comes our way again. And maybe it's to early to cast these doubts of emptiness on Aaron, but after all, I bet Brett in his second year of football would have beaten us
even worse.
