It seems Charles Woodson has adapted to his new post season role as Charles in Charge. His post NFC Championship speech to his teammates was inspiring, and the recent gift to the President of the United States - a signed JERSEY stating "See ya at the White House" are sure to be motivational tools in Charles' quest for a Superbowl win. Woodson, along with the majority of his teammates, have demonstrated and projected the class of the Green Bay Packer organization. Although the big game is more than a week away, I have already been very proud of how this team and leaders like Woodson have spoken eloquently and purposefully to each other and to the media. I am very hopeful that Woodson and the rest of the Green Bay Packers have the opportunity to show up on the Whitehouse LAWN having earned entrance and an invitation to dinner. The fact that President Obama is a self-admitted Bears fan will make the potential visit all the sweeter.
I am looking forward to the following week and half for more stories of veteran leadership, rookie maturation, and quality coaching as the Packers prepare for sports biggest stage.
